William H. Jordan
DVM, PhD, DACVP

Bill Jordan is a native of Milan, IN. He received his DVM from Purdue University in 1973 and his PhD degree in pathology from Purdue in 1978. He is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists. His specialty is the central nervous system. From 1978 to 2009 he was employed by Eli Lilly and Co. as a pathologist and toxicologist where he evaluated the safety of human health products, agricultural chemicals, and animal health products. During this time, he served as the co-primary advisor to guide two graduate students to earn their PhD degrees in Veterinary Pathology from Purdue University and continues to serve as an adjunct assistant professor at Purdue University. Upon retirement as a Research Advisor from Eli Lilly and Co, he became a Senor Pathologist at Vet Path Services, Inc. Bill served as a CNS session co-chair at the 2010 Society of Toxicologic Pathologists annual meeting, has authored or co-authored approximately 24 peer reviewed publications, and has presented numerous posters and platform presentations at regional and national meetings.
